CallToWrap is in development. This page describes how the product handles information, and it applies from the moment you have an account. It is published now because you should be able to read it before deciding to put your family in it, not after.
2. This product is built for households with children in them
That is the whole point of it, and it is why this section comes before the lists.
- One household is one account. A studio or an agency is not a large CallToWrap account — it is a different product. Your household's information is never pooled with another family's.
- A child does not get their own login until they are old enough. The parent or guardian holds the account, and the child's records sit inside it.
- Only the account owner can say who is responsible for a child. Not an assistant, not a helper, not another adult you have given access to — the owner. That is enforced in the software, not by policy.
- We ask for every member's date of birth, and we require it. Not for marketing. The product refuses certain actions on a minor's behalf, and it cannot apply a protection to someone whose age it does not know. A safety rule that switches itself off when a field is left blank is not a safety rule.
3. What the product holds
Your household
Names, email addresses, and each member's date of birth. Who is a parent, who is a performer, who is a helper. Which adult is responsible for which child, when that was established and by whom.
The work
Projects, roles, auditions, sides, sessions and shoot days. Self-tapes and other media you upload, kept attached to the audition they were made for. Headshots, resumes, reels and documents.
The money
Payments and expenses you record, so a career can be accounted for end to end.
How you reach us
Whatever you put in a message, and the address you sent it from.
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your information. Not for any price, to anyone, and least of all information about a child.
- No advertising networks. Nothing here reports your family to one.
- We do not use your self-tapes to train AI models, and we do not give them to anyone who would.
- We do not show your household to other households. Separation is enforced in the database itself, so a query that forgot to filter returns nothing rather than someone else's child.
5. How we measure traffic on this website
The public site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics: how many people visit, which pages they read, which site sent them. It is cookieless — nothing is stored on your device and it cannot follow you elsewhere. It measures the website, never the product.
6. Who else touches it
Each provider sees only what it needs, and none may use your information for its own ends.
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Runs the domain, sits in front of the site, provides the cookieless analytics above, and stores uploaded media in its object storage. |
| Contabo | Hosts the servers this runs on. See section 7. |
| Resend | Delivers our email. |
If we ever add a feature that sends your information to another provider — an AI model that reads a call sheet, for instance — this table is where it will appear, and we will update this page before the feature ships, not after.
We will also disclose information where the law requires it: a court order, a lawful demand from a public authority, or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety.
7. Where it is stored
Our servers are not in Canada. They are operated by Contabo in Germany and the United States, and the providers above operate internationally. Your information is therefore stored and processed outside Canada and is subject to the laws of those countries, including lawful access by their courts and authorities. Canadian privacy law requires us to say so, and you should decide with the facts in hand.
8. How long we keep it
- Your household's records — for as long as you have an account, and until you ask us to delete them.
- Self-tapes and media — kept with the audition they belong to, and deleted with it.
- Who was responsible for a child, and when — retained even after it ends. Revoking it records that it ended; it does not erase that it existed. That record protects the child, which is why it is the one thing we keep rather than remove.
9. Your rights, and your child's
You may ask us to tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Write to huan@vowric.com and we will answer within 30 days, at no charge, without asking why.
A parent or guardian may exercise these on behalf of a child in their household. A young person old enough to hold their own account may exercise them themselves.
If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
10. How we protect it
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Each household's data is isolated at the database level rather than by application code remembering to filter. Access to the systems is restricted to the people who operate them, and credentials are held in an encrypted store.
No system is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever puts you at risk of significant harm we will tell you and the Privacy Commissioner, as Canadian law requires.
11. Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change materially affects information we already hold about your household, we will email the people it affects rather than relying on you to re-read the page.
12. Contact
Questions, requests and complaints all go to the same place: huan@vowric.com, or by post to the address in section 1.
